how to save as pdf word

In Microsoft Word, you can save a document as a PDF using the following methods:

  • Using the "Save As" function: Open the Word document you want to convert. Click "File" in the menu bar, then select "Save As". In the "Save as type" dropdown list, choose "PDF (*.pdf)". After setting the save location and file name, click the "Save" button, and Word will automatically convert the document to PDF format and save it to the specified location.
  • Using the "Export" function: Open the Word document, click "File" - "Export", then select "Create PDF/XPS". Enter the file name and click "Publish" to save the document as a PDF.
  • Using the "Print" function: Click "File" - "Print", and in the printer dropdown list, select "Microsoft Print to PDF". Then click "Print", and in the pop - up window, select the save location and file name to save the file as a PDF.

If you are using WPS Office, you can click the WPS icon in the upper - left corner after opening the WORD file and select PDF format in "Save As"; or click the "Cloud Services" tab and select "Output as PDF".
