How to Insert Hyperlinks into a PDF Document

There are several common methods to insert hyperlinks into a PDF document. Here are the operations using some typical PDF editing tools as examples:

Adobe Acrobat Pro

1. Open the PDF document in Adobe Acrobat Pro.
2. Select "Tools" > "Edit PDF" > "Link" > "Add or Edit". The pointer will become a crosshair, and all existing links in the document will be temporarily displayed.
3. Drag a rectangle at the location where you want to create a hyperlink. This area, whether it is a text box or an image, will become the active link area.
